I'm imagining a setting that has a mixture of Harry Potter, Sky High, and just a regular school with mundane classes in it. To make the role playing world happen, there are no "classrooms" though. Since the anime world is so diverse, and each character may not be fully compatible with other characters for a study session, I've created a "pocket dimension" classroom. That is, all the classes, all of the students, and all of the teachers are in one large "room" so everybody can see everything that is going on anywhere in the school, yet it is cozy enough to understand instruction, practice experiments, or partake in daily activities.
There are two categories of characters in this new game: Students, which are designed to not be fully in character. I want the characters to experience personal growth through out the game, and I'd like to see every little quirk of a character exaggerated to see what their life really is like behind the scenes. Then there are the faculty members. These are characters who should be more or less in character. These are the role models for the students to learn from -- everything from mathematics, to cooking and cleaning to mecha design and space flight.
So that's the basics of the game. I've got a more complete introduction on my site: [link] This link will take you directly to the RPG page. I invite you to come on in and adopt a character if you enjoy Anime!
